Oscar John Vent Bentley

Back in February I got an email from cousin Lisa which said:

Hi Karen,

I wanted to tell you our good news. John Jr. and Carrie finally
delivered their baby boy. He was born on Tuesday, Feb 17 at 9:31 a.m. 7
Pounds and 6 Ounces. 20 inches long. He has a mass of dark hair with tiny side
burns. He didn't have a name for a few days but they finallly decided before
they left the hospital on thursday. Oscar John Vent Bentley. Oscar is Carrie's
grandfather's name. I will send you a picture soon.

I asked her for permission to post this information. John and Carrie agreed and I said I would wait til I got a picture to put with the announcement. I did get a picture today -- 98 pictures --and Oscar is adorable. Unfortunately, I couldn't copy any of them to my computer so that I could print any of them here. Today Oscar is one month old. I figured that was a better celebration than the wearin' of the green.

I didn't want to wait any longer in case you didn't know about him. Lisa is sending me other pictures. When I get ones I can post, I will do so.

Oscar is the grandson of John Vent Bentley and Shirley Stallard. He is the great grandson of Otho Bentley and Nancy Alice Hall. Little Oscar is our newest cousin.
